A calfskin low-top for every day.
The SP-105 is cut from calfskin, the smoothest of the cowhides, with a fine sheen and close grain. A minimal low-top shape gets out of the leather's way. It creases as you wear it, taking on a character that is only yours. It reads right with a jacket or with jeans.
Soft, light, easy with every step.
A cushioned footbed and a flexible outsole bend with the foot, so each step lands soft. It tires you less on a long walk and shapes to the foot over time. Every step of the day, a little easier.
Built by hand in Fuchu City, better with wear.
Every pair is made one at a time at our factory in Fuchu City, Hiroshima. We have built shoes here since 1933, adjusting the last and pattern again and again to fit the Japanese foot. Our craftsmen cut the leather and finish each pair by hand. That is where the quality comes from.
The wave sole: made to last, made to repair.
Spingle's wave sole cushions, holds up, and flexes, and it can be repaired. A serious pair you'll still reach for every day. We keep building it by hand at our Fuchu factory, which is why it stays with you for years.
